Cumhuriyetimizin kurucusu Ulu Önder Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, ebediyete intikalinin 87. yılında tüm yurtta olduğu gibi ilçede de düzenlenen törenlerle anıldı. Belediye Başkanı Fikret Albayrak, belediye personeliyle birlikte belediye binası önünde bulunan Atatürk Anıtı’nda düzenlenen anma programına katıldı.

Tören, saat 09.05’te çalan siren sesiyle birlikte yapılan saygı duruşu ile başladı. Ardından İstiklal Marşı, katılımcıların hep bir ağızdan coşkuyla okumasıyla yankılandı.

Törenin ardından konuşan Başkan Fikret Albayrak, Atatürk’e duyduğu derin minneti şu sözlerle ifade etti:

“Cumhuriyetimizin kurucusu Ulu Önder Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’ü, ebediyete intikalinin 87. yılında belediye personelimizle birlikte belediyemiz önünde bulunan Atatürk Anıtı’nda saygı, minnet ve özlemle andık. Aziz hatırası önünde bir kez daha saygıyla eğiliyor, bizlere emanet ettiği Cumhuriyet’i ilelebet yaşatma sözümüzü yineliyoruz. Sonsuz saygı, minnet ve özlemle... Aziz ruhun şad olsun, büyük Atatürk.”

Tören, duygusal anlara sahne olurken, katılımcılar Atatürk’ün manevi mirasına sahip çıkma kararlılıklarını bir kez daha dile getirdiler.
