Trafik işaret ve levhalarının sadeleştirilmesine yönelik komisyon toplantısı, Vali Selçuk Aslan başkanlığında gerçekleştirildi. Toplantıya ilgili kurum amirleri de katıldı.

Toplantıda, trafik işaret ve levhalarının “mümkün olduğu kadar az, fakat gerektiği kadar çok olmalıdır” ilkesi doğrultusunda düzenlenmesi ele alındı. Çalışmalar, İçişleri Bakanlığı ile Ulaştırma ve Altyapı Bakanlığı arasında imzalanan “Karayollarındaki Hız Sınırlama Uygulamalarında Yeknesaklığın Sağlanmasına İlişkin İş Birliği Protokolü” kapsamında yürütülecek.

Bu çerçevede, il genelinde emniyet ve jandarma sorumluluk bölgelerinde belirlenen 573 noktada trafik işaret ve levhalarının sadeleştirilmesine yönelik düzenleme yapılması planlanıyor.

Proje ile sürücülerin trafik işaretlerini daha kolay algılaması, görsel karmaşanın azaltılması ve trafik güvenliğinin artırılması hedefleniyor.
